Back to 1994

The Arcadium Playware is a lone effort of L-Tyrosine (me).
Its beginning dates from 1994, and even with 10 years of life, it still is on beginning of being.
I never had much free time to work on it, and code games if far more complex than it appears at first look.
Not until long ago, I had no finished games, just tests and prototypes; this site is here because this is changing! :)

The Arcadium Playware does not aim profit or fame (well, if it comes, better ;) ). It's just the result of my passion
in game programming. In fact, I never intended to make a game of sale success... just one of those little games
that people keep in computer for years, because they're fun!
If any game that conquer this space, then the Arcadium's mission will be accomplished.

Ok, but who is L-Tyrosine?

     My nick "L-Tyrosine" it's a name of an amino acid (C9 H10 NO3).
There's a time that I was taking a supplement that have this amino, and I noticed that my thinking got sharper,
     but I wasn't understanding why.
L-Tyrosine is a base component of neurotransmissors and adrenalin. Normally the body makes all L-Tyrosine
that needs, but the effects of an extra dosage are still on study.
All points that it improves the mind performance on stress situations, but this is not scientifically proved yet.
Coincidence or not, the days that I was taking this supplement were the most productive of my life.

But my true name is Luiz Eduardo Morais.
I was born at the morning of 03, august, 1979, at
   São Paulo, Brasil.

Learn to code wasn't exactly easy. It started in 1994 when
a friend presented me the GW-BASIC.
The basic like the name says is a very simple language
but it looks very interesting to me, because I could create
in it. I started like 5,6 games but hadn't finished none of them.
That's because when I want to do something, and don't know
how, I spend the necessary time to learn, and when I finally
do, I was alredy wanting more...
In this circle there wasn't any time left to really code
a game from beginning to end, just to research how :P

Anyway, this is how Arcadium was born. In 1998 after so
many researches, I began to work with programming
professionally (not game programming unfortunately) and
soon after, with system analysis too, where I'm still at.
Code DB stuff is not really what I like, but I haven't discover
how to work just programming games, I don't even know if
this is possible here in Brazil...
My researches on game programming stayed frozen until 2001
when I decided to try again, this time in Delphi

The Delphi is a powerfull development tool, and my pretensions went higher...
I was planning games in 3D. And so I directed my studies until today.
